About Dog Days

Dog Days is a dog photography service based in Swansea, South Wales. We’ve been surrounded by dogs our whole lives and believe every dog has a personality worth celebrating.

We create relaxed outdoor images that capture dogs as they truly are, with a special soft spot for sighthounds and big gentle souls.

Relaxed outdoor sessions

Made around your dog

No perfect obedience needed

Dogs of all ages, breeds and personalities are welcome. The aim is to capture character — not perfect behaviour.

On lead is completely fine

If your dog feels happier or safer on lead, that is absolutely fine. We work with your dog, not against them.

Outdoor locations

Parks, woodland, beaches, favourite walking spots, or anywhere your dog feels most comfortable.

45–60 minute sessions

Sessions are relaxed and unhurried, with plenty of time for breaks whenever your dog needs them.

Kind words

Benji

The best photos of my boy

My boy Benji had some lovely photos taken by Liv and she was so patient. Benj still got his walk, moved around like we would on a normal day. It was so nice that nothing felt too forced, just capturing the different sides of my boy naturally while he enjoyed his day out. My favourites are of him near the water (his favourite place) and just him being his goofy self. I can’t thank you enough for creating something that we will treasure forever.

Good to know

Frequently Asked

Does my dog need to be well trained?

Not at all. We photograph dogs of all ages, breeds and personalities. The goal is to capture your dog’s unique character — not perfect obedience.

Does my dog need to be off the lead?

Whichever you prefer. If your dog is happier or safer on lead, that's absolutely fine—we'll work our magic and edit it out. We do recommend using a collar over a harness where possible to help show off their best poses.

How many dogs can I bring?

We welcome up to two dogs per session. This helps keep the experience relaxed and gives each dog plenty of time and attention in front of the camera.

Where do sessions take place?

At outdoor locations such as parks, woodlands, beaches, your dog’s favourite walking spot, or wherever they feel most comfortable.

What should I bring?

Treats, their favourite toy, water, a lead, poo bags, and any accessories you would like them to wear.

What if it rains?

If the weather is not suitable, we will simply rearrange your session.

My dog won’t sit still. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Some of the best photos happen while dogs are simply being themselves. There is no rush, and we work at your dog’s pace.
